Hi and welcome to Walton’s World. Each day Walton will take your classroom on an adventure to a foreign land. He will inspire your young learners to try new things, ranging from foods from other countries to experiencing other cultures. Each lesson is designed in accordance with the guidelines established by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Your students will acquire pre-math and pre-reading skills through fun and games. In addition, each child will develop self-regulation skills enabling the students to be a more collegial participant of the classroom. Each continent’s curriculum is designed for 8 weeks, and has 6 ½ hours per week of fun and travel with Walton. Everything you need for your curriculum is sent to you in a rolling kit and available online through a password protected site. As your students travel the world, you too will learn about the culture, music, crafts and food of each nation.
